For splicing and label protection applications use Polyester Film Tape 853. Our tape is a transparent, polyester film backing with solvent resistant acrylic adhesive. It provides strength without thickness and resists many solvents including jet engine fuel, hydraulic fluid and lubricating oils. Its other benefits include high tear and good temperature resistance, long term aging, and high strength backing that allows the visibility of information protected by the tape.
